How editorial decisions get made
The verdict on a platform is written from the evidence, then the links go in. Preply has no say in what appears here, no preview of it, and no route to having a critical line removed. When we get something wrong, we fix it on the page and say what changed.

Editorial independence
This site expects to be paid by the same company it reviews, which is the standard arrangement across affiliate publishing and the reason so much of it is worthless. These rules are how we intend to stay worth reading.
- No paid coverage
- Nothing here is for sale. We do not sell reviews, rankings, placements, guest posts or links, and a request to buy any of them would be declined and disclosed on the page where it was aimed.
- Verdict before link
- The judgement on a page is settled from the sourced evidence first. Commission is not a factor in what the page concludes, and a page can and does tell some readers to choose a competitor.
- No manufactured balance
- We do not add a complaint to look even-handed or soften a real one to look reasonable. The critical Trustpilot reviews quoted on this site are there because somebody wrote them.
- Nothing invented
- No fabricated testimonials, no invented ratings, no made-up author personas, no comparison data we have not checked. Where a figure is unconfirmed the page says it is unconfirmed.
- Affiliate links labelled
- You can see which links pay us. Outbound links to Preply are marked as sponsored in the markup and disclosed in plain words on the affiliate disclosure page, never dressed up as an editorial recommendation behind a redirect.
Corrections
Prices move, policies get rewritten, and sometimes we simply misread something. Tell us when we do, and this is what follows.

Send the page and the problem to the editorial team, with the source that shows the correct position where you have one.

We check the claim against Preply's own published pages, or against the original review, rather than against our own earlier working.
- 03
A wrong fact is corrected on the page the day it is confirmed, and the page is re-dated so the change is visible.
- 04
Where the error changed the advice, the correction is noted on the page itself, saying what it previously said and what was wrong with it. Quietly editing a verdict and pretending it always read that way is not a correction.
