Plenty of review sites invent a smiling expert with a decade of teaching experience and a stock photograph. We would rather publish a thin byline that is true. So this page holds one entry.

Preply Reviews editorial team

The team researches Preply's published pricing and policies, collects reviews from Trustpilot, writes the comparisons against italki, Cambly, Lingoda and AmazingTalker, and checks every figure before it is published. Each page names the date its facts were last checked.

What the team does not do: take payment for coverage, accept copy from Preply, or test the product hands on. No one here has sat through a paid Preply course, and the pages say so where it matters, because a review that implies first-hand use it never had is the most common lie in this category.

Named credentials

Individual names, teaching or research credentials, and per-page bylines are pending confirmation. They will be published here, with each author's own page, as soon as they are settled.
