Who we are

The site is written and maintained by the Preply Reviews editorial team. We are not tutors, we are not Preply staff, and we have no commercial relationship with any of the platforms covered here beyond the affiliate arrangement described below. Individual author names and credentials go on the authors page as soon as they are confirmed, and until then every page carries the editorial team byline.

One job runs through all of it. Someone lands here having seen a Preply ad or heard the name from a friend, and they want to know what a month of lessons will cost them and whether it is any good. That is the question every page is built to answer.

Why trust this

Five things we hold ourselves to, each of them checkable against the pages themselves.

Sourced figures

Every price and policy figure on this site names where it came from and when it was checked. The 18% one-time platform fee, for instance, is Preply's own help centre, quoted with the date. Nothing is estimated and presented as fact.

Real reviews only

Reviewer quotes come from Preply's public Trustpilot page and link back to the original, so you can read the rest of what that person wrote. We have never written a testimonial, and we never will.

Critical reviews kept

A review roundup with nothing but five stars in it is not evidence of anything. The one-star complaints stay. They sit on the page next to the praise, where you can weigh them yourself.

Money disclosed

We expect to earn a commission on signups referred through our links. No tracking link exists yet, so the site earns nothing today, and the affiliate disclosure spells out what changes when one does.

Gaps flagged

Where a fact could not be confirmed, the page says so rather than filling the hole. Preply's affiliate commission terms differ across the three networks that carry the programme, and no public figure is authoritative, so we publish none.
